HAZARA PIONEERS CRICKET CLUB Inc
The Strategic Plan was developed to guide the direction of the Hazara Pioneers Cricket Club.
HISTORY
Cricket has always been a passion for us back from where we came but due to less
opportunities and facilities, we have never had a chance to grow or glow.
Cricket has been given a special focus in Australia and that’s what we were seeking for.
Starting with only 5 players initially back in 2017, Hazara Pioneers have been striving to
promote cricket among the community and the efforts gave out the fruit in 2018 when we
first entered SACA Summer T20 Tournament.
SACA provided a platform where we were able to promote our team to all cricket lovers
in the community.
Since 2018, Hazara Pioneers have played regularly in all Tournaments organised by
SACA that included Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring T20 tournament.
Hazara Pioneers feel pride in being Runner Up teams in two of the SACA’s T20
Tournaments with very limited resources and facilities at ground level. Moreover, Hazara
Pioneers have so far moved up to the Semis four times.
Hazara Pioneers is looking forward to grow stronger and register their first tournament
victory with SACA in the current ongoing season and also looking forward to continue
their momentum in the upcoming years.
Hazara Pioneers also feel pride in being the first Hazara Cricket Team registered with
PDCA and will be promoting cricket in the community with more facilities and
opportunities for the young Migrants so better players can emerge in the future from the
community who would serve the country one day.
